Harvard Model United Nations

It gives me immense pleasure in sharing that our students will be taking part in Harvard Model United Nations USA, from 27th January to 5th February 2015.

During their visit, our students will be travelling to Boston where the conference would take place. They will be visiting prestigious universities - Harvard and MIT and will be interacting with the Harvard, MIT and Northeastern University panels.

They also will be travelling to New York and Washington DC during their trip and visit some more prestigious universities – Georgetown and George Washington and museums like the Smithsonian in Washington DC. The delegation will also have a guided tour to United Nations Headquarters in New York and visit cultural and historical places. The focus of this educational tour is on learning about diplomacy, university immersion, history, culture and art.

The students have attended MUN training workshops in school and have been oriented to take part in this prestigious HMUN which has a team of over 200 Harvard University students working on providing an enriching experience to delegates from over 60 countries of the world. Delegates will convene at HMUN to debate and discuss issues of global importance as well as gain valuable insight into the functioning of the United Nations and International Relations.

We wish the students and Ms. Kalyani who is accompanying them safe travels and a great experience of interacting, knowing and learning.

4) Fabulous concept-ISD.The kids get to learn much more about different Nations, their history, culture, food, economy, and tourism and so much more. It’s so much informative when done this way through activities rather than just reading. This is almost one of my favorite days in the entire
annual academic year: Love the concept of passports and stamping. Beautiful simply.
